Stacie Watts, L.C.M.F.T.
Stacie Watts is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT). She
received her Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, graduating Summa Cum Laude, from Friends
University and a Bachelors of Science degree, from Wichita State University. Stacie has provided psychotherapy in
private practice to individuals, couples and families since 2004.
Stacie has experience in providing therapy to individuals dealing with depression,
self-esteem, anxiety, self-harming behaviors, bereavement, forgiveness and life-stressors. She has experience in
helping couples restore their relationships while working to enhance communication, trust and respect. In addition,
she has experience in helping couples deal with infidelity, sexual addictions and problems of intimacy.
Stacie has extensive experience in working with women and matters that are unique
to women. Whether dealing with anxiety, depression, past abuse, family conflicts, life-stressors, infertility,
miscarriage or post-partum, Stacie has a heart for meeting with women at all stages of life. In dealings of
infertility, Stacie has the unique understanding that only a woman who suffers with infertility herself can offer
to another woman or couple. Her personal belief is that no woman should feel they must journey alone.
Stacie is a Christian and strongly believes in the healing that can
take place when God is at the center of the process. She works from a number of therapeutic approaches; most
frequently working from a strengths-based approach. Stacie always works to be an advocate for her clients, walking
alongside them as they journey to their desired goals. She aims to provide a comfortable and safe environment in
which her clients can experience growth, change and healing. Stacie believes that when her clients have a vested
interest in their personal growth they also experience the greatest healing.
