
Dominica West, L.M.S.W.
Dominica West is a licensed Master Level Social Worker
who is currently pursuing her clinical licensure. She received her M.A.. in Social Work, Magna Cum Laude, from
Wichita State University. She received her B.A. in Social Work, also Magna Cum Laude, with a minor in Psychology
from Wichita State University. She received honors from Phi Alpha and from Psi Chi.
Dominica has worked in crisis
intervention services providing solution-focused, crisis-resolution counseling. Dominica has also worked in
clinical settings with individuals, couples, families and groups assisting with a variety of issues including, but
not limited to, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, anger, parenting, single parenting, stress management and
problems at school. Dominica has experience coordinating referrals and guiding clients as they locate resources and
assistance within the community. Dominica has had success working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds
and from different age groups - from children to seniors. Dominica believes that together we can assess the
problem, devise the treatment plan and bring an awareness that will bring about the change you
desire.
